So many people compare their life experiences with others. Their job is better, they make more money, their spouse or partner is more supportive, they have a nicer purse or shoes, or their child is so much better because they are cuter or smarter or better at sports.
Guess what?! This is all true AND all false. You bring into your life those that match you. Your career path is perfect for you and, if not, then it’s time to work on shifting it. Your money has to do with your relationship with it, if you want it to be different you have to choose differently. Your spouse or partner is the perfect match for you and if you don’t have one, it’s because that is the gorgeous space you are in to create the type of person that will mirror you and what you desire in a relationship – or you may just be someone that prefers to play with many and not get serious, which is totally hot too. Your purses or shoes are what they are as you put your money into different things. Your child is the most amazing simply because they are yours.
Stop buying what the media is selling. You are doing your life perfectly for you and if you want it to unfold differently then you have to put in the work for it to shift. This is not blaming you for crappy things that occur. In fact, it is just the opposite. Wow! Look at all of those things you have faced so far and overcome in your life! How many could do that so well?! Be proud of both your accomplishments and your failures. Most fail because they won’t even make attempts. Yet here you are doing this whole life thing.
Your life is what you choose to create and it is not one-size-fits-all, or even most. What you put your attention or energy on is what grows. Everyone has things they want to change and shift in their life. Why not use the jealousy that comes out towards others to make the changes you want in your life? It is really cool – you are 100% in control of what you have and don’t have in your life.
What are you going to do today to get it one step closer to how you want it to look?
